SOME RIDE IDEAS FOR THE TIME YOU HAVE. YOU NEED TO BE BACK BY 1PM

🌊 1. Jindabyne → Dalgety → Berridale → Jindabyne (classic loop) ⏱️ ~2 hours 📍 One of the BEST in the Snowy region Route: Jindabyne → Dalgety → Berridale → back to Jindabyne Why it’s magic: • Rolling high-country curves • Open farmland views • Snowy River crossings • Fast but relaxed sweepers (Indian heaven) Dalgety is a great coffee/photo stop by the river.
🌲 2. Jindabyne → Thredbo → Dead Horse Gap → return ⏱️ 1.5–2 hours (longer with stops) Why it’s epic: • Tight alpine twisties • Big elevation climbs • Cool mountain air • Serious “wow” corners Dead Horse Gap lookout is unreal. 👉 This is a must-ride for visiting bikers.
🏞️ 3. Jindabyne → Charlotte Pass turnoff → scenic return ⏱️ ~2 hours (You don’t need to go all the way up — the mid section is the sweet spot) Why it’s great: • Narrow alpine road • Wild scenery • Kangaroos, snow gums, big views • Feels remote and special Perfect slower scenic cruise.
🌄 4. Jindabyne → Adaminaby (via Snowy Mountains Hwy) → back ⏱️ ~2–2.5 hours Why it’s beautiful: • Lake views almost the whole way • Long flowing bends • Easy riding but super scenic • Great bakery stop in Adaminaby Very relaxing ride — great for mixed skill groups.
🌬️ 5. Jindabyne → Kalkite → Berridale backroads loop ⏱️ ~1.5–2 hours Why locals love it: • Quiet roads • Zero traffic • Open sweepers • Big sky country
